During a screening of Antoine Fuqua’s upcoming boxing drama Southpaw, actor Jake Gyllenhaal and rapper Eminem surprised the crowd by coming out to introduce the film.
The screening, which was held in Eminem’s hometown of Detroit at the AMC Livonia 20, was held in advance of the film’s Friday, July 24th release.
When talking to the crowd, Eminem said, “From the minute I saw this script, I really felt like this movie had the potential to be something special. We hope that you all do, too. Jake did an incredible job.”
