Ahead of its release next week, The Weinstein Company has drooped another new clip has arrived online from Antoine Fuqua’s boxing drama Southpaw entitled ‘Press Conference, which features featuring Jake Gyllenhaal’s Billy Hope being challenged by his rival Miguel Escobar (Miguel Gomez).
From director Antoine Fuqua (TRAINING DAY) and writers Kurt Sutter (SONS OF ANARCHY) and Richard Wenk (THE MECHANIC) comes SOUTHPAW – the story of Billy “The Great” Hope, Junior Middleweight Boxing Champion of the World. When tragedy strikes and he loses it all, Billy enters the battle of his life as he struggles to become a contender once again and win back those he loves.
Southpaw is set for release on July 24th, with a cast that also includes Rachel McAdams (Aloha), Rita Ora (Fifty Shades of Grey), Naomie Harris (Skyfall), Forest Whitaker (Out of the Furnace), 50 Cent (Real Steel) and Victor Ortiz (The Expendables 3).
